Women's Health

CHEER has developed deep connections to community members that may be hard to reach, by engaging community outreach specialists in promoting health opportunities.  In 2016 CHEER and Mobile Med entered into a partnership funded by the Susan G Komen Foundation in which CHEER community outreach specialists reach out to qualified women in hard to reach communities and refer them to free medical screening and mammograms at Mobile Med.

Early detection and mammography screening can save lives. Qualified community members can gain access to mammograms and breast health programs through CHEER's breast health program.

Currently CHEER offers Spanish-only programming through Breastfeeding USA. For more information about our Women's Health program, see the flyer below.

CHEER can also refer income qualified women to Project WISH, which provides free breast cancer screenings uninsured and underinsured women ages 40 to 64 and cervical cancer screening for uninsured and underinsured women ages 21 to 64.
