ENOUGH Long Branch Thrives

Long Branch Thrives is a coalition of partners working together to create a neighborhood action plan to address the root causes of childhood poverty in Long Branch and to help ensure that all Long Branch community members live healthy and successful lives as part of Governor Wes Moore's ENOUGH Initiative. CHEER serves as the community quarterback for this coalition. ENOUGH stands for Engaging Neighborhoods, Organizations, Unions, Governments, and Households. This community-based initiative focuses on the following four ENOUGH Result Areas: High-Quality Childcare and Education, Healthy Families, Economically Secure Families, and Safe and Thriving Communities.  To read more about Maryland's ENOUGH Initiative, please click here.

Long Branch Thrives Neighborhood Action Plan

The Long Branch Thrives Neighborhood Action Plan is a community-led roadmap designed to uplift and transform our neighborhood, built across 18 months of collaboration and 11 public meetings. Created through the support of Governor Wes Moore’s ENOUGH Initiative, this plan directly tackles poverty and expands opportunities by addressing local needs in housing, economic development, health and food security, childcare, youth development, and public safety. By combining data-driven strategies with the powerful voices of our residents, business owners, and local leaders, we are building a safer, more prosperous, and deeply connected Long Branch.  We are working together with community to ensure that every member of our community can truly thrive.
