ENOUGH Long Branch Thrives

Long Branch Thrives is a coalition of partners working together to address the root causes of childhood poverty in Long Branch and to help ensure that all Long Branch community members live healthy and successful lives as part of Governor Wes Moore's ENOUGH Initiative. CHEER serves as the community quarterback for this coalition. ENOUGH stands for Engaging Neighborhoods, Organizations, Unions, Governments, and Households. This community-based initiative focuses on the following four ENOUGH Result Areas: Cradle to Career Education, Healthy Families, Economically Secure Families, and Safe and Thriving Communities.  To read more about Maryland's ENOUGH Initiative, please click here.

Long Branch Thrives recently wrapped up Phase 1: Cradle to Career Education of the Long Branch Neighborhood Action Plan. Based on community input from a series of three community meetings, focus groups, and surveys, Long Branch Thrives will work together to develop initiatives in the following four areas:
